"Those are your parents aren't they Ariana!" I gasped suddenly realizing her pain. If my parents were dead then I wouldn't be able to bear even being in the same country as their graves!
"SO! ITS NOT LIKE YOU'D UNDERSTAND!" She snapped back quickly in between sobs.
I apologized and held my hand out to her, she snorted, stood up and we strolled out of the graveyard, but before we could step out onto the safe wintry path on the way back to the flat, a whisper of dust washed across my shoulders, and then a hand came to wipe it away, it was scary so I looked round at Charlie, a misty shadow was holding his arm and dragging him back.
An old woman was staring at me and Ariana. Ariana was petrified, her eyes were as blue as the sea and her lips trembled every millisecond with fear. I was as frightened as Ariana but I wasn't paralyzed, I dived out of the mysterious gaze of the woman and ran off to play tug of war with the shadow dragging Charlie by his neck into the angel carved tower.
I know it was out of the ordinary, it was definitely out of the ordinary but to save a friend you have to act quick, I leapt across the smoky gravel and grabbed the scrawny legs of Charlie, I steadied my feet on the floor and started trying to pull him away from the spectra,I snorted at the thought of losing my best friend to a ghost I gripped my arms on his legs and pulled, my eyes were closed when he shot into me, the ghost wailed in a tune and dived gracefully into the angels open mouth, I jumped up just in time to see the woman go, she split effortlessly in too and rolled herself into the angels eyes.
We all stood in wonder before the angel, like it was possessed by the devil. I picked up my bag and marched back onto the path, Charlie made a last stutter and hastily followed me, but stopped to help up Ariana who was impatiently frowning at me.
